Account Mutes

Mutes can be avoided by following the RuneScape rules and Terms and Conditions. Mutes are applied to all products associated with that account.

While muted:

  • You can still play the game and read our forums
  • RuneScape users have the option to use quick chat. This option is not available in Old School RuneScape at this time.

For members, most mutes can be appealed by submitting an appeal from the Account Status section of the Account Management page.
