How do I enable SSL on Windows?

Why would I need to do this?

SSL is a different type of encrypted connection from the connection usually used by the RuneScape client. Enabling this allows the RuneScape client to connect using a connection type which does not rely on the usual ports, so it may allow connection through secure or otherwise limited internet connections.

How would I do this?

1. Search your computer for %USERPROFILE%\jagexcache\jagexlauncher\runescape (you can do this in your start menu)
2. Open the file called "runescape.prm" using Notepad
3. After the line that says -Dcom.jagex.config=https://www.runescape.com/jav_config.ws, add another line -Dhttps.protocols=SSLv3

It should look like this:
-Dcom.jagex.config=https://www.runescape.com/jav_config.ws
-Dhttps.protocols=SSLv3

4. Save this file and close the notepad editor.
