Common Game Card Issues
Follow these steps if you are unable to redeem a game card.
1. Check that you have entered the PIN correctly on the redemption page.
2. Check that the card has been activated by the store where you made the purchase (they will need to see the receipt they gave you upon purchase)
3. Check all known RuneScape accounts in case you have already used the card on a different account
If you are you are still receiving an error when trying to redeem the card, or if you have managed to scratch out the PIN when removing the protective silver layer, you will need to contact us. For a speedy resolution, please make sure to provide the following screenshots hosted on a trusted site like Imgur:
- Image of front of Game Card
- Image of back of Game Card
- Image of your receipt
Note: It is essential that you first go back to the store to make sure your card has been activated, Jagex Support will ask you to do this if you have not done so already.
