RS Pre-Paid Game Card: PIN isn't working/says 'already redeemed'

If you have just entered your PIN via the redemption page but something has gone wrong, such as an error message like "Your code was not recognised. Please try again", don't panic.

There are a number of things to check straight away:

  • Have you entered the PIN correctly?
    • You will find the PIN underneath the silver scratch-off strip on the back of the card. It will be either a 10 digit PIN (XXX-XXX-XXXX) or a 15 digit PIN (XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX).
  • Has the card been used on a different account you own?
    • Check all of your accounts, and if you have multiple Pre-Paid Cards, check to see whether one still has the silver strip intact, or if you've mixed your card up with an old one – they tend to avoid the bin due to the nice artwork!
  • Are you certain that the card was activated at the store where you purchased it?
    • To be certain, take the card and the receipt back to the store and check.

If you have checked the above, but the card isn't working and you are certain that it should be - please take the 3 pictures below and upload the images to a trusted site like Imgur:

  • Image of front of Game Card
  • Image of back of Game Card
  • Image of your receipt 

Once you have these, please then provide us with the URL's via the Contact Us button at the bottom of this article, along with details of the package that you wanted to redeem your card for. 

RS Pre-Paid Game Card: Can't read the PIN

If you've had a bit of an 'incredible hulk' moment, and scratched the back of your Pre-Paid Store Card so furiously that you can no longer read the PIN, don't worry.

We need you to take pictures of the following and upload the images to a trusted site like Imgur:

  • Image of front of Game Card
  • Image of back of Game Card
  • Image of your receipt

Once you have these, please then provide us with the URL's via the Contact Us button at the bottom of this article, along with details of the package that you wanted to redeem your card for.
