Client Error Messages on Windows

Common client errors you get in touch with our Tech Team about, and their solutions.

Messages when downloading

"The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program".

    Choose a new web browser download the client again. 

"A heap has been corrupted"

  1. Restart your computer
  2. Download the client with a different browser.
  3. Right click on the download button and click 'Save Link As' and save the installer to your desktop and run it from there.

 

Messages when crashing

"Error Code c0000409"

This error message is known, and our developers are working on getting a solution to you soon! In the mean time: 

  • Avoid busy areas
  • Turn on compatibility mode
