How to clear your cache
Game Versions:
RuneScape stores some files locally on your device. Sometimes one or more of these files can become corrupted and cause problems starting the game, clearing your cache will force these files to redownload.

Click 'Options' in the lower left of the client screen whilst it's loading up |

Where it says 'Cache folder' this is where your cache files are saved |

Go to this directory and delete the whole folder |

Reload the client. In the lower right you will see that cache begin to build. Wait for this to get to 100% before logging in |
You can also enter the command 'deletejs5caches' into the Developer Console and restart the game to clear your cache.
Clear your Old School RuneScape cache

Click Start and search and copy this directory into the search bar: %USERPROFILE%\jagexcache\oldschool\LIVE |

Delete the folder |

Open spotlight search |

Enter: /Users/*insert your Mac username here*/Jagex |

Open the 'Jagex' folder |
4 |
Delete the folder called 'RuneScape' |
Clear your Old School RuneScape cache

Use spotlight to locate any folders named 'jagexcache' |

In this folder, open the folder named 'OldSchool' |

Find and delete the following folder:

NOTE: Your cache will automatically re-download after following these steps. During this time you may notice a slight decrease in performance.
