Add a login email to a Steam created account

If you would like to log in with an email address as well as via Steam, please follow these steps: 

  1. Head to your Account Login settings
  2. Log in to your Steam created account by using the 'Log in with Steam' button
  3. Follow the onscreen steps to add a login email* and password to your account

*The login email must be one that isn't already used to log in to an existing RuneScape or Old School RuneScape account, so create a new one or try these creative tips. 

 

Unlinking your account from Steam 

To log into your account with just your email and password, please unlink your account from Steam.
