We are committed to creating a fair environment for all of our players. As part of that commitment, we have made some important changes to our offence appeal process.
What's changed?
- You'll have the ability to appeal your offence twice, giving you two opportunities instead of just one if you believe your offence is incorrect.
- In the past, one of the biggest issues players faced was the lack of a direct route to query the outcome of an appeal made by our content moderation. Our improvements will mean that you will receive feedback directly to your email regarding your appeal.
Why the change?
These changes reflect our ongoing efforts to enhance your experience and provide you with high-quality support. We believe that this process will ensure that all appeals are reviewed fairly and thoroughly.
How it works
Now you will have the opportunity to appeal your offence twice.
- First appeal: Submit your initial appeal and our team will review your appeal and respond with a decision via email.
- Second appeal: If your first appeal is denied and you still believe that it is incorrect, you will now have the opportunity to submit an additional appeal.
To ensure fairness to everyone, old offences that have been previously denied will be open for you to appeal again.
Your first two appeals will be manually reviewed by a JMod. If both appeals are denied, your case will be closed.
Submitting your appeal
You can appeal an offence if you believe it was applied incorrectly:
-
- Fill out the form below with information relevant to your appeal
- You will receive an email confirmation from us when we have received your appeal, you do not need to reply to this
- Once your appeal has been reviewed, we will send you an email outlining our decision and reasoning
Please note: As per our Privacy Policy, we will only retain personal data on an account for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for and any period required by law. We must delete and/or anonymise personal data where required to comply with data protection laws including if the relevant retention period has expired (for example, deleting accounts inactive for substantial periods of time). If an account has had a ban on it for 6 years or longer, then the account will not be recoverable, as the account or the necessary data for us to identify the account will no longer exist.
