Google log in issue

If you're experiencing issues logging in to your Google-created RuneScape character, try these solutions to get back into game.

Check DOB

Ensure that your Google account has a date of birth set:

1. Head to your Google account's Personal info page
   • Make sure you're logged in to the Google account you used to create your RuneScape character
2. Ensure that your birthday is set on the account 

Grant Google access

If you're still having issues logging in, try removing RuneScape's access to your Google account, then granting access again:

1. Head to your Google account's App permissions
   • Make sure you're logged in to the Google account you used to create your RuneScape character
2. Wherever RuneScape has access to your Google account, select it and press "Remove Access" (see below image)
3. Repeat step 3 for every instance of RuneScape on the list
4. Log in to RuneScape using the Google login button and allow access to your date of birth

Upgrade to a Jagex account
