Which type of account do you have?
I haven't upgraded to a Jagex account
If you log in with a RuneScape username or login email, please follow these steps:
- Head to Account recovery
- Enter your username or login email and press "Recover"
- If your account was created after 2010 this will be an email address
- Follow the prompts and check your email inbox for a password reset email
- If you don't have access to your email click "Contact Jagex Support" and fill out the Account Recovery form, you'll receive a reply within 24 hours
I've upgraded to a Jagex account
If you've upgraded to a Jagex account, please follow these steps:
- Enter your email address here and press "Continue"
- When asked for your password choose "Forgot password"
- Enter your email address and follow the prompts in the email to reset your password
If you don't receive the email check your junk or spam folders. The recovery link will be valid for one hour. If you're unable to use the link in this time, a new one can be requested by repeating the same steps.
If you've lost access to your email account please get in touch with your email provider.
